Beevo Paddle Mark I

A friend of mine and I have embarked on creating a controller for the EQMOD driver to allow local pointing control while at the telescope.  Here will be documented the process as it happens.  The final rendition of the controller is planned to be wireless, though the first efforts will be wired.



Here is the pilot test bed controller.  Base of the controller is a MicroChip 16F877A microprocessor.  This board has a serial COM port (small chip is the level converter).  The 5 LEDs are in place for diagnostics while testing.
