All Arizona Messier Marathon
March 24th and 25th 2006
Once again a hoard of scopes and scopers headed to Farnsworth Ranch south and west of Arizona City for the annual Messier Marathon put on by SAC (the Saguaro Astronomy Club). To make a long story short, we dodged clouds on and off all weekend long. I managed to get a fair bit of observing done Friday night and stuck it out until 1:30 or so. Still a telescope outing with clouds is like a day fishing. The worst day fishing is better than the best day at work....

The glow of Tucson Arizona.....
