Tempering Bucket
A Homer Bucket and a cheap Sous Vide cooker makes for a cheap and simple tempering bath for chemistry...
I picked up a 2 gallon Homer Bucket from the Home Depot lumber store and then a Sous Vide cooker from Amazon.

First thing is to make a pair of brackets to hold the Immersion Heater in the bucket. I designed these in Fusion 360 and 3D printed them using PETG filament. The two brackets are essentially the same design except the lower one needs a slightly smaller radius on the curved section that fastens to the bucket sidewall. Also the distance from the center of the hole to the sidewall of the bucket needs to be a little less to allow the heater to sit vertically. If aesthetics don't bother you, both brackets could be the same. These are fastened into place using grey 3M mounting tape or by using a screw (as I did).

Immersion Heater installed.

Next step was to add an auxiliary temperature probe bracket just in case it was needed. Installation is with 3M foam mounting tape. The temperature control of most immersion heaters is quite good, so this is not needed.
