Grafmatic Film Holders
Many years (decades?) ago I had a Baby Linhof 2¼x3¼ and one of the accessories was a Grafmatic film holder. A few months ago i came across a pair of lightly used 4x5 Grafmatic holders on one of the buy & sell forums. They were nicely priced and in quite good condition, so I decided to venture back into using these holders that are both fascinating and frustrating at the same time.
Extreme care must betaken when loading/unloading these to prevent damage to the septum's. They are easily bent and sometimes hard or impossible to straighten out. In use it takes multiple cycles of the handle to change the film sheet, forget where you are and you will expose the film!
