3D Printed Lens Hoods
The accessory lens hoods for the 6X7 are not plentiful and are expensive when you do find one...
I designed the hood in Fusion360 and printed it with PETG filament. A groove was designed in the back to press a step up ring to provide metal attaching threads. The original plan was to epoxy the ring into place, the fit was so tight, it appears no adhesive will be required.
Here is a back side shot of the hood with the ring pressed into place. For a 77mm filter size a 67mm to 72mm adapter ring was used. Depth of the hood(s) has not been set, a few shots may be needed to prevent vignetting.
A flared rectangular hood was made, testing will commence shortly.
