Laying out the body cutout was fairly simple, I laid it on a sheet of paper and traced around it. Using a straight edge I squared off my irregular lines and transferred the design to the foam using a white paint pen. I discovered that either my metal or wood band saws cut the foam neatly and square. One thing I inadvertently discovered that was really handy was "backing up" the back side of the blade would also cut very neatly. Unfortunately I discovered this when I was just about done...
